Our experienced Counsellor is qualified to Degree level ensuring a very high standard of service and is highly experienced . This enables us to work with you in order to offer effective counselling tailored specifically for your requirements.
We only accept clients on an individual basis, no couples, in order to provide counselling focussed entirely on you as an individual.
We treat a number of mental health conditions, and provide an accessible, neutral, safe, confidential service.
We take the information you share, and therefore the trust you place in us, very seriously and handle it with the utmost care. In order to ensure it is safe we have registered with the Information Commissioner's Office who ensure that it is handled in accordance with legal requirements.
All our staff are DBS checked so you can be certain that you are in safe hands.
Our focus is to help you become aware of your inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a confidential, safe space, listening to your concerns, and working with you to devise and deliver a treatment plan that's right for you.
We promise to be there for you every step of your journey. Our goal is to help you identify a way through your struggles and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
Depression, fear, stress, phobias and anxiety are some of the most common, frightening and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counselling and treatment, we can be there for you and are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Recovery from any addiction such as alcohol, gambling, drugs, food and others can be a long and often very difficult process. It is easy to forget the emotional impact of addiction on your life and the lives of those around you.
We offer access to a range of counselling and therapy services not only to help those suffering the addiction but also to those around them.
We want you to be sure that counselling is right for you.
We offer a free initial consultation. This enables you to decide if you want to go ahead without risk or any obligation. If you decide that you aren't ready for counselling you are free to do so without any cost.
The initial session is your chance to ask any questions you may have. We are committed to an open and honest discussion regarding what you can expect from us and the various ways we can help you. The session is a confidential chat between you and the counsellor which is aimed at enabling you to agree the counselling that is right for you. Subsequent sessions are £40 each.
We don't offer 'block bookings' as we don't think you should pay for sessions you don't need. We do not believe that you should be asked to pay for a set number of sessions if you don't require them. We adhere to the principle that it is imperative that we put the needs of the client first and that we act with integrity. In order to ensure this we will never offer, or pressure you to accept, sessions if you don't need them.
We do not charge extra for evening or weekend appointments as we do not believe you should be penalised for having a busy schedule.
By phone - We believe that people who cannot attend an office for any reason should not be denied the opportunity for counselling.
By Zoom - We offer this option to anyone unable to attend an office but would still prefer being able to see their counsellor.
Please feel free to contact us if you need any more information. It's best to email or text in office hours, we will get in touch as soon as we can as we cannot guarantee answering the phone as we may be with a client.
We welcome enquires from individuals or corporate clients and are happy to discuss your requirements and how we can help.
